Take a hard look at your business and see what can be improved before you get busy again and overwhelmed with work.
Here are a few suggestions from Assistant for Real Estate’s Kandra Hamric culled from over 20 years in the real estate industry:
a. Improve and upgrade your presentation;
b. Get those accreditations and designations you want but haven’t had the time previously;
c. Bring your web presence up to date and give it a refresh – be critical and original in your thinking
d. Aside from updating your website consider upgrading your computers (Windows has recently launched Vista which is the next generation on from XP Professional) do not let yourself get behind with developments in technology;
e. Take a good hard look at the resources and applications you are currently using – what works, what doesn’t work and how all of this could be made to work better for you;
f. Spend some time on getting your database updated, add previous buyers and sellers, and get rid of the rubbish – organize your database into good prospects who you wish to concentrate on;
g. Ditto with your drip campaigns and really pay some attention to how you can improve these;h. Draw up your business plan and break it down into your monthly and weekly cycle of activity;
i. Courtesy call past clients – it always pays to stay in touch and helps with referrals.
