Some real estate agents want to do it all. They’re willing to show up at the office and talk to clients seven days a week. And they don’t just work limited hours: no, they’re there, working on something (or a lot of things) anywhere from 10 to 16 hours each and every one of those days.
It’s safe to say that they are ready for a real estate assistant even though it’s probably a fair guess to think that they’ll still be there all those hours – just accomplishing even more because some of their tasks will be delegated to someone else.
Of course, not everyone wants to be at the office every single day. Not everyone wants to spend all of their waking hours working – they want to see their families and friends, maybe catch a movie every once in a while, have a relaxed dinner. Just as an agent who is committed to putting in long hours can benefit from working with a real estate assistant, so can those agents who want to accomplish just as much in fewer hours.
Think about it: rather than working twice as many hours as most people do to accomplish twice as much, with a real estate assistant you can split the work. Maybe you’ll still work a few more hours than some of your colleagues, but you won’t have to give up your life outside of real estate in the meantime.
Working with a real estate assistant isn’t something that agents do because they can’t get the job done on their own; it’s something that agents do when they know that they could accomplish even more if their energy was focused just a little bit better. Working with someone else is something that they know will help them focus on what they do best.
If you’re finding yourself in a position where you’re feeling a little stretched thin? If so you may be ready for a real estate assistant. If you’re working more hours and getting less done, you just might be ready for a real estate assistant.
