A Real Estate Assistant Can Boost the Rapport You Have With Clients

Every day, we meet new people. When we do, we usually know within the first few minutes whether or not we’ll click.

That kind of instant rapport is key when you’re in the real estate business. When you’re working with sellers, your clients need to believe that you’ll do all that you can to find a buyer that meets their needs. When you’re working with buyers, they need to feel confident that you’re working with them to find the home that they’ve always dreamed of owning that also happens to be within their budget.

But it’s not all about first impressions: that first meeting is just a beginning. No matter how great your initial rapport with clients is, you need to be able to keep it up. Let’s face it, though. When you’re working with five, or ten or thirty other clients, it’s hard to give everyone your best.

Having a real estate assistant is a simple, easy, effective way of boosting and maintaining the rapport you have with your clients. When you have a real estate assistant, there’s always someone who can answer the phone, someone to reply to an email, someone to answer a question. When you can’t be there immediately, you’ll know that someone else can be.

Why risk damaging the relationship you have with one client just because you’re working with another? With the right partner, your clients will know that you’re their for them, even if you’re not the one on the other end of the line.

  2. I agree whole hardily! I’m new agent in Columbus, GA (1year) and have great success (so I think) in my 1st year. Currently, I am working to close deal #20. This year has been a roller coaster ride!

I came into the business with no plans, no expectations, and NO assistant. My days run long, from 6 am to 10 or 11 pm at night. After taking care of appointments and the needs of my clients during the day, I must spend hours at night catching up with emails and follow-ups calls. With an assistant to take a bit of the load off, I would be able to spend a little more down time with the family.

I have recently encouraged the assistance of my mother. She is a 67 year old retired grandmother who has stepped up to the plate to help. Over the past year, she has enrolled in college and is currently working to take as many admin classes as possible. I look forward to her assistance greatly!!! She is planning to move-in with me January and will work client files from home via email and phone.

    I am so very Excited!!!
