I'm sorry to hear you had such an ordeal. I've been with GoDaddy since 2002 or 2003 and never once have I had an issue with service to my sites or with their customer service. They have always been helpful and knowlegeable when I've called about my sites or my clients sites. I recommend them all the time!

Great post. Struck home for me for a couple of reasons:

1) I bought a house a year ago and my realtor uses VAs

2) I run a VA shop.

Takeaway, for me, anyway, is that the Real Estate Business is better-suited to the VA business than just about any other match I've encountered in 25 years in business. Yes, I'm preaching to the choir, but folks, pay attention to this thread . . . !

Really good and timely info for new real estate agents that have the tech spirit...also, some experienced agents that "get it" when it comes to being on their game! More important now than ever to be notified when your clients are out of sight!
Thanks!

Hey Kandra,
Finding an assistant is hard enough if you are looking for the perfect personality to work with you.
Add to that the training that goes along right after you hire them. Further, what if after you have them trained, they jump to another agent/firm or start their own business?
The best part about hiring a VA is that they love what they do, they have all the training and they will not leave you for someone else after your huge investment is used up! keep it simple and hire a professional VA.

Allen and Michelle,
I am glad to hear I am not the only one with Godaddy issues. Customer service is the backbone of every company. When you don't have good customer service you will spend a lot on marketing to obtian that new client to replace the clients that leave.
Thanks for commenting!

I have had a very similar experience with GoDaddy and have since moved on from the. Hopefully for their sakes they will have some internal training for better customer service, because the products and services are decent. But customer service is too important to me, and I had to make the decision based on that.
